The trade fair has consolidated itself as the most important one in the organics and agroecology segment in the Country. The event takes place from 4th to 7th June 2014, at the Ibirapuera Bienal, in São Paulo.

Known for free of pesticides and chemical inputs production and for socio-environmental concerns, organic foods include not only in natura fruits, greens and vegetables, but also a growing number of processed foods, such as meats, milk, personal care, clothing, cosmetics, cleaning products and others.

Promoted by Francal Feiras in partnership with NürnbergMesse Brasil, Bio Brazil Fair | BIOFACH Latin America - International Trade Fair of Organic Products and Agroecology reaches its tenth edition with the best in organic products, and represents a fast growing market. Data collected by the IPD - Instituto de Promoção do Desenvolvimento (Institute of Development Promotion) show that the revenue of the industry for 2014 is around R$ 2 billion, which confirms the annual growth average of between 15% and 20%.

From the 4th to the 7th of June, the Ibirapuera Bienal will host professionals from specialized stores, supermarkets, clinical drugstores, hospitals, spas, resorts, restaurants, agronomists and others, not to mention consumers.

Approximately 120 exhibitors are assembled in a 7 thousand m² area to showcase in natura and frozen organic foods, fruits and vegetables, honey and honey products, meats, juices and drinks, milk and dairy products, bread, cakes and pasta, cosmetics (scents and essences, creams, shampoos and soaps), fashion (jewellery, clothes, fabrics and accessories) and production support (inputs, fertilizers, equipment, certifying entities, consultancy services).

The expectation for this edition is to exceed the record attendance of 2013: 22 thousand national and international visitors, including professionals of the industry and the general public.

Since 2013 the trade show has been promoted in partnership with NürnbergMesse, the German promoter of BIOFACH - the most important trade fair of organics in the world, with editions in Germany, India, China, Japan and the United States. With this partnership, Bio Brazil Fair | BIOFACH Latin America started to integrate the international calendar of trade fairs dedicated to organic production. This has increased the number of seminars with the presence of major world players of the segment and has broadened the business opportunities of exhibitors and buyers from several countries.

One of the main attractions of Bio Brazil Fair | BIOFACH Latin America, the Fórum Internacional de Agricultura Orgânica e Sustentável (International Forum of Organic and Sustainable Agriculture) focuses on important themes and showcases the new trends of the industry. The high level of the lectures is guaranteed by the presence of renowned professionals and authorities of the organic universe, including international lecturers. In 2012, it received representatives of the OTA USA - Organic Trade Association, COTA - Canada Organic Trade Association, IFOAM - Federação Internacional de Movimentos de Agricultura Orgânica (International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements) and Organic Monitor.

Parallel Event
Concurrently with Bio Brazil Fair | BIOFACH Latin America, Naturaltech - International Trade Fair of Healthy Eating, Natural Products and Health will take place. This is the only Brazilian trade event geared towards the production of natural products. Together, the two fairs total 270 exhibiting companies.
