NrnbergMesse: on the way to social responsibility

NrnbergMesse is a conscious company, which is concerned about the world it operates in. For the company, socio-environmental responsibility is its new foundation for development.
We understand that preserving the environment and contributing to society are essential for the company's future and its employees.
Aware of this need, we not only worry about implementing preservation concepts, but also focus on and encourage incorporating these ideas into our daily work and in our lives.
For all these reasons, NrnbergMesse has studied ways to apply and practice social-environmental concepts.

In 2007, the company began its small project...

  • All the materials used at trade shows promoted by NrnbergMess are printed on recycled paper;
  • Contribution and participation in GAIDI's end-of-year party (2007) - an institution that helps and supports children living with HIV.
  • Social and environmental management of waste produced by trade fairs (FCE Pharma, FCE Cosmetique, Expo IS, TecnoBebida, Food Tech and Pet), making it possible for, in addition to environmentally correct disposal, socially responsible actions to take place such as directing recyclable waste to a So Paulo recyclers cooperative.
  • Distribution of tree seeds at the IS and Techno Bebida Awards events.
  • Participation in the implementation of Empresa Amiga dos Animais (Animal Friendly Company), for companies that show interest in actually participating in socially responsible projects in the animal world.

These are some of the projects we have launched so far. However, the company is not only concerned about doing something basic, NrnbergMesse wants to make a difference! Today our social responsibility initiatives are leading us down incredible paths, many of which you haven't heard about yet!
The company has chosen GAIDSI as an institution that needs our help and we are not limiting ourselves to just contributing and participating in their end-of-year party.
GAIDSI - Support Group to Children with HIV - is a non-profit organization founded in 2002 with the purpose of offering medical assistance to children who live with the HIV virus and of offering social support to them and to their families.

All event marketing materials are printed on recycled paper.
NrnbergMesse is an Animal Friendly Company.

NrnbergMesse released the Social Pet stamp to show its ethical and environmental commitment.

In partnership with Arca Brasil, the initiative promotes social responsibility among veterinarians and professionals from the 7th Pet South America.

Through the creation of the stamp, NrnbergMesse plans to promote more partnerships with NGOs and non-profit organizations, because it understands their importance in spreading social responsibility, as well as the successful adoption of such a practice at all its events.
One of the initiatives that comes with the stamp is the partnership with ARCA Brasil (the Humanitarian Association for Animal Protection and Welfare). Together, they will organize the 3rd Arca Brasil Seminar, which plans to show veterinarians opportunities to turn social responsibility into professional and personal success.
NrnbergMesse also takes part in Empresa Amiga dos Animais (Animal Friendly Company), launched by Arca Brasil in 2004. The stamp was created in order to identify companies, products and service providers that, somehow, contribute to promoting animal protection and well welfare.
